"Content for a Better World"
I have been an entrepreneur pretty much my whole life. Yes, even as a kid I was hustling! Though I did work a couple of jobs, I always had a business on the side. My last "job" was in the grooming department at a Petsmart in Richmond, VA. This is where my life-long love of animals grew along with my desire to be fully self-employed.
In 2005, I started my own pet spa which still operates today. Years later, I also launched an unofficial non-profit, ModelsSupportingAnimals.com (MSA). MSA is a free membership site where models and other industry professionals are encouraged to use their influence and talents to spread awareness of animal cruelty issues and promote ways to live a more cruelty-free lifestyle. Between my pet spa and MSA, I learned an enormous amount about business from marketing, customer service, finance, social media, teamwork, and ohhh, so much more!
ABOUT ME
Over the years, I began incorporating what I learned about animals and the environment, through operating MSA, in my everyday life. This is what led me to become a vegetarian, replacing everyday products with cruelty-free alternatives and simply respecting the environment more.
Just last year, my family and I sold everything except our businesses, dogs, and 8 suitcases to follow our dream of moving to Costa Rica. Without God, our businesses, and the right attitude we know this opportunity wouldn't have happened. I now have the time and passion for helping other small businesses and startups navigate the roadmap to success, whatever success means to them!
